Feb 2015 - Round 2 for the researcher in Gottingen, Germany. I have asked her to do some more research on the Meurer family, especially the army service and battle of Waterloo connection. Also trying to track down more details of Susanna's birthplace and birthdate.

Sep 2013 - A chance contact with a family history researcher in Sweden has led to a solving of the
Anna Lovisa Arvidsson mystery. It was thought that after adopting her daughter (our Grandmother
Emilia) she may have emigrated to the USA. The real story is now known. Click

Apr 2013 - Peter Whiteman who is the grandson of
Sophia Meurer has added more detail to the early Australian Meurer story. Sophia married
Arthur Whiteman and they moved to the Casino district in northern NSW. They ran several pubs in that area. More details
